How to detect fake:

Nintendo Switch Docks

Nintendo Switch, released on March 3, 2017, is a hybrid console that can be used as both a stationary and portable device.

Since it's release, counterfeit versions of the Switch and it's accessories have entered the market. Many of the fake versions have proved to be very hard to tell the real version from fake. Below are a few examples to help determine if your dock is authentic.

The first step is to examine overall quality. If you see any signs of inferior quality or alignment issues, it's probably fake.

Next, look at the quality of the embossed "NYCE". Notice on the real one, the arrows have a clear space between them while the fake one has nearly no space.

Next, look at the triangle shaped emboss. Notice on the real one, the circle and the triangle are nearly separated (just a small area that is combined). The merging on the fake one is much larger.

If you still need more, you will need to open it up and look at the circuit board. The circuit board on the authentic docks are a dark green, like the real one above. Notice the fake one is a bright green.
